Camping at the rest stop

This is half way between my home and my home town. We’re talking a three hour drive, here. Nothing over the top.

Whenever I stop here for a break, there’s always caravans here camping for the night. I don’t get it. Maybe it’s easier, but I’d rather go off the beaten track a little, make it a proper adventure. Not somewhere where you can hear traffic all night on a major highway. There’s so much beautiful country out this way, make it a proper adventure!!
